Upgrading Instructions
- If you plan to upgrade existing Postgres Installer installation for 9.5, 9.6, 10, 11 or 12 you will need to download and run updated Postgres Installer executable for your platform and run the installer. The installer will be able to detect your existing installation automatically. Follow the installation/upgrade wizard to go through the rest of the steps to upgrade your existing installation in place. Please note that in place upgrades are supported for minor version upgrades only.
- If you have an older version of OmniDB and you run the latest version of Postgres Installer it will upgrade OmniDB. All of your saved database connections will remain intact.
