The PostgreSQL Immersion course combines a selection of topics from two other comprehensive courses (Administration and Replication, Backup & Disaster Recovery) as a self-contained program. It is suitable for a wide range of attendees such as database administrators having prior experience with any database software.
Students must have a working knowledge of SQL. The ability to use the command line interface to a Linux system and some basic UNIX shell programming experience is needed to complete all of the replication workshop exercises.
