On-Site Training
2ndQuadrant provide the widest range of PostgreSQL training topics available worldwide, covering all needs, from introductory to advanced levels. Training material is written directly by senior PostgreSQL developers.
2ndQuadrant teach on-site courses for companies all over the world. If you need us to come to you, we're happy to do so. On-site courses can offer significant savings in comparison to having whole teams travel to scheduled course locations.
Our courses are designed to be modular, and last 60-90 minutes per module. We have over 60 course modules to choose from, so we can quickly and easily tailor a course to the specific needs of the individuals. If you need training in some area we don't yet cover, we're happy to write additional training material for you.
Our proess starts with Training Needs Analysis and moves from there to a recommendation about which areas need coverage and in what depth. We frequently work with expert development and administration teams, so our training certainly isn't just for beginners. Even experienced teams benefit from filling in gaps in their knowledge and hearing things explained clearly and put into context.
Courses are ideal for 4-8 students and are generally limited to 12 students. If you have a larger numbers of students, or multiple teams, then we'll be happy to help you work out more complex time schedules to accommodate everybody. We understand that it is not always possible to have entire teams away from regular duties for many days at a time.
